Hey there 👋, I’m Alice Kirby , and I’ve been in the ever-changing world of marketing for 20+ years.
My love affair with the hair and beauty industry started by happy accident 15 years ago. It was the industry’s fast-paced and vibrant nature that captured my heart.

My adventure in the hair and beauty world really took off when I founded Lockhart Meyer Salon Marketing, an agency aimed at making every salon and clinic not just succeed, but truly stand out. But that’s not all – subsequently I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work as the independent Consulting Marketing Director for the NHBF, lending my expertise to help thousands of salons across the UK and help shape the future of hair and beauty.
With my dedicated agency team, we’ve steered hundreds of owners to successfully market and grow their salons, while working with industry giants from AVEDA to the Fellowship for British Hairdressing and many more. Our goal? To help your business grow, thrive and find its unique voice in a crowded marketplace.
One of my proudest achievements is the community we’ve built of over 23,000 salon marketing blog subscribers. This platform is my way of sharing what I’ve learned over the years, providing salon owners with the latest marketing insights, practical tips and, dare I say, ‘wisdom’ to inspire your next move.
When the pandemic hit, it was a challenging time for all, especially salon owners. It’s quick and super easy to tailor the Club Canva templates to your salon’s brand. You do not need to be good at tech.
How often is new content added?
Every 1st of the month. There is separate content depending on whether you’re a hair member or beauty member.
